Mmmm... this is an odd affliction, having checked I realise that I have 4 meteors do they breed?

I find it always starts with guns you had or always wanted as a kid . With me it's 35e's and Merc's I've ended up with 5 E's and 5 Merc's including 2 mk2's a Challenger an S and a 635 mag on the way . Then it starts to get worse older 77's Txsr , etc etc
A few nice rifles
YES! Have you never heard people say "Not another breeding Meteor?"
I am struggling to count mine. I think there are 16, not including the one that I've done for somebody, or the rough one in bits.
I would still like one of the Mk3? Versions with the pretty heavy duty steel rearsight
I believe BSA have made 1 million of these? Last reports were that there are 3 million still in existence.
Cooler than Mace Windu with a FRO, walking into Members Only and saying "Bitches, be cool"
By the looks of things most of those 3 million meteors are owned by BBS members! I also agree that its the rifles that you wanted as a kid that you tend to collect...I found this forum to track down a Jackal but then discovered I needed several other rifles....and also more Jackals.
I think one of the worst day's work I ever did was parting with an RB2 Carbine in .25 .

Now that is a Bad day !
“An airgun or two”………
Piggy....I did not know such a thing existed in .25........but I feel your pain now
I've seen a few superstars going for fair prices recently. IMO a cracking gun.
Rust never sleeps !
Yes it was very much real, bought of a local house clearance specialist.
Took it home and inserted a .22 pellet only to watch it drop out of the muzzle,a phone call to Mr Knibbs confirmed the lack of a calibre stamp meant it was a .25.
It made me unpopular on the range, instead of setting spinners in motion it knocked the whole frame down at thirty yards .
