You'll get that with anything that you do neil thats why that put disclaimers on many of the videos if they were to watch your other videos they'd see and hear you explain setting up the trigger safely

Did you re-swage the pins? Maybe you don’t do this but I did after ding mine.
Good of you to take the time to make the video to help others.
    Don’t confuse luck with ability.

I actually didn't re swage the pins when I had finished. I haven't done that to any trigger I have done - perhaps I should start although I have had no problem with any of them so far. However - I do tap the pins home from the still swaged side which jams them in tight to the hole....

Nice one Neil. I think this is the only strip and reassembly vids on the subject posted in the public domain, and I've searched extensively, so many thanks for posting these.

I had to wait until I made it home from my last work trip to be able to get youtube and watch, the BBS is easily accessible in Iran but not youtube.

Vey well done and quality is more than good enough, IMO.

I have done videos showing how to strip, polish and rebuild a Rekord trigger.

I had to split it into 2 parts as it was too long to do in one go.

I am not sure as I am entirely happy with the videos so please let me know what you think and if they are not up to scratch I will have another go at a later date

Just a note to all xs20 (early version)with rekord copy triggers, owners of these guns would do well to give these videos a look as the Chinese version really does benefit from a good polish.

Been an eventfull evening .....i fitted the vortek kit that went in ok but i had to remove the piston liner so that the cocking shoe runs on the plastic guide (ordered the new version one should be here friday ....talk about cutting it fine ) I managed to get the trigger done a bout 10 minutes ago after several attempts and a fair bit of effing and blinding but i managed it in the end ......its a lot smoother minus the factory grease and a polish.......the 97 gets the trigger job tomorrow afternoon

    Thumbs up well

......I still have'nt done the 97 trigger i have been trying to get my new hw80 vortek kit to muster over 9 ftlbs but no joy i've had to go back to the meteor titan spring using a 97 guide and a top hat from an old kit ....... having trouble keeping it legal so 1 collapsed coil should do it in the morning (amongst getting my bits together for the bash).....oh and i have a sticking safety catch ......one has to keep ones chins up
