    Meon Valley Airgun Club... Bowman Classic

    This Sunday 7-6-15 is our Bowman Classic. sponsored by Bowman Ales ltd.

    The sun will be in full sunshine mode and the competition will be HOT!

    Will Russ take Si's crown in the Gamble & pistol challenge or will the new pretender "Don-phrey (the hit man) Vickers" blow them all into the dust!....only one way to find out & that's turn up and have a great day

    Open to all, so even if you haven't done anything like this before just come along and we will show you how.

    £10 to enter, full HFT course set by the Mad Scots man and his mini tribes men. (Warning Meon rules so expect it to be a little challenging) a 20 shot Gamble course, 3 points for a standing kill, 2 for kneeling & 1 for prone. but you chose how.

    The Pistol challenge is set out like a miniature HFT course with 20 targets, you can bring your own pistol or use the ones provided by the club.

    There will be prizes and trophy's given out at the end of the day

    A chuck waggon will be on site, so all In all if you are looking for a fun day come along with the family, friends or on your own. and you will be made more than welcome.

    Please remember that "Meon Valley Airgun club" promotes Safe Shooting. all air rifles & pistols MUST conform to UK Laws for Air powered weapons and not exceed the current power limits.
    12Ft/lbs for Air rifles and 6ft/lbs for air pistols.

    Ah! another member from the beautiful South and a home boy too

    It's about 10min drive from Bishops Waltham, head up the B3035 to Corhampton, at the roundabout left onto the A32, through Warnford & on to West Meon, as you go through the village take the right turn (High Street) before the Hill, keep going, pass the turn for Meon Springs, go pass the turn for Westbury House and just pass this look for a round mirror on the left opposite a dirt track on a right hand bend. go up the track for about a mile. just keep flowing your nose and you will eventually see us. there's a map on the web page too

    A big thank you to all those that turned up on Sunday, especially the guy's that came down from Basingstoke & Wendover. although Colin Baggs & Glen Breadmore (Basingstoke) have now been banned for winning the Open & Pistol comp, and walking off with a couple of create's of Bowmans Ale's (not really)

    I think that everyone would agree that it was a fun & enjoyable day's shooting and well done to all our winner's
