Webley Tracker - date of manufacture?

Can anyone provide a link or have access to dates of manufacture for a Webley Tracker serial number 15757, please

I tried Webley's homepage and they very kindly don't list such info and offered a link to a gunsmith who will charge for the info.

Its a tap loader if that helps but maybe they all were?

It looks similar age to my Stutzen - mid 80's.

My apologies, I read the serial number from a previous model on the same Excel page, and all I can say for the actual Tracker number is that it was part of a batch produced in early 1982.
This was taken from old Webley records, some of which a fairly complete but others are a bit sketchy, but none are 'made up', as some bight spark suggested.

and I was going to put you on the ignore list for being a troll!

Thanks for the info, 1982 suits me just fine, similar era to my tap loading BSA Stutzen.

    cheers

    Thanks

I think the earlier numbers were quite possibly for the 'Osprey' as the later numbers for the 'Tracker' restart with 10001 with the first numbers to 11919 listed as being for the 'Barnet Spitfire', then with a gap to 14000 after which model details are sketchy in places, although the 'Osprey' is still occasionally listed amongst the 'Viscounts' and 'Trackers'.
I do like the 'Tracker' and have a few examples in my collection, along with an 'Osprey Supertarget'.

put a few shots through the tracker yesterday and found it to be a wonderful little rifle, triggers a bit naff but other than that it shoots fine - looking forward to putting it through the Chrony, I'm guessing 10 1/2 ft/lbs.

    I think its will be 8.5 - 9.00 ftlbs.

Absolutely no theory, just a guess.
