August Bank Holiday Charity Shoot at the Oaks - Save the date

We are running a 30 target UKAHFT 2015 course shoot at the Oaks on 31st August.

The aim of the day is to have fun and raise some money for Cancervive, a locally based cancer support charity.

We will be following the format we used at the end of last seasons SIHFT where the combined score of the pair counts rather than individuals score. You are encouraged to "coach" your partner and we will aim to match experienced shooters with less experienced or just less lucky competitors!

There will be a couple of trophies available on the day as well as raffle prizes and a BBQ, this is a great opportunity for folk new to HFT to come along and have a go.

UPDATE:
We will plan to start the comp at 11am but will have the plink (practice range) open from 8:30am
the charge per competitor will be £9 each which will include the BBQ - a bacon roll before you start and a burger / hot dog when we finish

I am glad to say we are lucky enough to have raffle prizes provided by Claire at Air Arms (sleeve of pellets, palm rest, gun bag, clothing) and Nick at Get Airgun who has donated a £100 voucher for Ridgeline clothing.

As we have a number attending who are unfamiliar with HFT if you get along by about 9am we will give you a separate safety briefing and you will get a chance to practice on the plinking range before we start
