    I am glad to say we are lucky enough to have raffle prizes provided byClaire at Air Arms (sleeve of pellets, palm rest, gun bag, clothing) and Nick at Get Airgun who has donated a £100 voucher for Ridgeline clothing.

    Question A27 access - is it OK to get the Oaks?

    Hi there, can I just check whether road access to The Oaks is still ok via the A27 for Monday, or are there route changes/restrictions in place following the airshow crash? Cheers for any info you can provide. Lisa

    Hi Lisa

    And anyone else with same question in mind.

    Road closure is to the West of the A27 exit (on to the A293) for Mile Oak. As result it should not adversely affect any traffic approaching from the East (you), including those coming down from ooop north via the A23.

    It WILL affect those driving along the A27 eastbound, from Worthing or anywhere further West. I'm sure there are loads of diversion signs in place, but a good idea to do a google maps search - showing live traffic - to spec out the options BEFORE you get too close to the area.

    Access

    You will not have a problem driving from Eastbourne as you will turn off the A27 before the road closure - aim to turn off the A27 at the A293 - follow to the Mile Oak Roundabout

    If driving from he Worthing direction and if the road closure is still in place you may need to drive along the A259 coast road then when you cross the river bridge in Shoreham go left on to the Old Shoreham Road and then right onto the Upper Shoreham Road - follow this to the A293 which takes you past the Sainsbury and the Mile Oak roundabout

    Post Code is BN41 2RF - HFT signs will be out at the Farm
