For "defending champion" read "over-weight, middle-aged lunatic who shoots .22 because his failing eyesight means he can't be certain of putting .177 pellets in the right way round"

(but at least I didn't suffer the ignominy that befell some of my fellow club members when it came to chrono time )

Chrono????? Whats A Chrono we follow our motto "POWER ALL THE WAY" without Question, Honour and Blind Obedience

one of those two rifle's was a brand new (week old) FTP900! fair play to Air Arms, who promptly striped it down there and then to try and resolve the fault, and have now got it back in their workshop to sort out the problem.

a good lesson here for all of us, even though you buy a brand new rifle and it has been checked by the manufacture's quality control department (allegedly) and the every so conscientious RFD (allegedly) you should always check the power yourself, as its you that ends up getting into doggy poos and not take the word of others as Gospel!

Filling up quick people, if you want a full day of relaxed tin chicken dinking I would advise booking sooner rather than later.

Two all new courses with some very interesting target placements plus the usual Air Arms genorosity all hopefully making for one of your best shooting experiences of the year.

My peg's going to look like a freeze frame from that Two Ronnies sketch about Class.

Must remember to pack a cloth cap and scarf for Tugg.
