    Thanks, Mel.

I certainly hope that it helps to bring a few more new people to The Hollow.

Cool The Boinger Bash Events to cure Negative Thread Blues!

As a substitute for actually shooting my guns, which I don't manage often enough, I love being able to get on the BBS.

It has become such a large and important part of my life. I have gleaned knowledge, shared some knowledge and made some excellent friends.

Getting on here, especially in the evenings after a stressful day, helps me unwind. Talk to like-minded folk. Forget your troubles of the day.

It's also my only real method of socialising after work....the Mrs hates pubs and we're too skint to go out anyway.

So....it upsets me when negative threads get started, or when peeps start having a go at each other. Peeps, we're all in it together, so just behave and be civil.

AND.....and this will also apply to people on here that know each other from various clubs, on the various competition circuits, or from having dealings with them.....Once you actually get to The Bash, especially after a few return visits and you've actually gotten to KNOW people properly, and realise that they're REAL people and not an anonymous person at a keyboard, people will tend to behave in a proper and courteous manner.

It's The Boinger Bash Effect you see; so good for mind, body and soul.

For anyone undecided as to whether this is for them or not, go on, take the plunge, I promise you'll be so glad that you did and it's a genuinely uplifting experience.

    BOING !!!!

No Baldy mate, it's an entirely horseless celebration of a cold and wet November night when three or four Boingers snuggled into their (separate) sleeping bags, after a convivial campfire evening, to be very pleasantly surprised by warming hot water bottles and Kitcats. They'd been smuggled there by the very generous pyrotechnical expert Captain Bongo.

It takes considerable ingenuity and patience to boil enough water for several hot water bottles and to put them in place without discovery. The good Captain possesses these virtues in diamonds. They were boinging champagne moments!

That should get 'em in, Steve.

P.S. @ Mick; don't panic if cheque doesn't land like yesterday. This time I've given in to CraigyP and he'll be boinging a cheque to you mid-month-ish......

Unless I go and scud him.......
