I'd have said the TX was the easiest to strip for a simple service or preload adjustment Neil --- no need to twat about with hammer and punches like the LGU.

    All the best Mick

    Another Bash Article...

    Well, chaps.

Remember Simon Everett from Airgun Shooter came to the June Bash?

Well, his article is in the August issue.

Lovely pic of young Mick with the trick B2!

Other nice pics, too, including an excellent one of Baldinio and Junior!

    Thanks Simon.

Sorry matey, I didn't spot your post last night!

Sell one of my HWs?? That would be blasphemous, that would!

    Especially a beautiful 35!!!

However, I MAY have a plan......

    The (nearly) plan.......

Sorry, I had to sign off a little earlier....

Well, all this talk of TXs has got me salivating over one and seeing Mick's excellent operation TX, a transformation open to all by just substituting parts, has got me boinging about merrily for one.....

So much so that, this morning I started to hatch a plan.....ring Paul at my local shop to see if he had one....stick the Slavia into the gun bag, take the plastic and return with said TX. Then I thought, "what am I doing?". The little Slavia ticks lots of boxes - inexpensive and something I'll not abuse, but not get over precious over, so I really ought to keep it and tinker it. And, a little while later, after a little plink with it, that confirmed that it's the way forward. It's going to make a perfect little project gun.

TX.....I'll keep my ears to the ground for one. I suppose that, with the conversion that Mick has undertaken, so numpties like me can easily transform it, it'll not matter whether it's a Mark I, II or III.

And if I don't get one in the short term, I could club my birthday (November) and Christmas money together, put some to it and treat myself to an awesome pressie at year end.

Cheap price Tone, but call me fussy, I just can't stand a pistol with a fixed foresight hood. Makes me literally physically actually feel sick.

Nick would probably buy it though!

So finally Terry has caved into my idea of a three page illustrated spread on how to smash an HW35 to smithereens with an HW70!! It's gonna be popular!
