Mrs mole trapper has a couple of chimneys to sweep Thursday morning and I've a posh house to survey for bed bugs, once that's done were going to be chasing Nick up the m5!, actually probably m42 by then.
Well, folks, it's like a mini miracle........
Ever since early April I've been having horrendous back problems leading to severe sciatica. Until about ten days ago the pain was virtually unbearable for the first few hours every day and evening onwards...sharp debilitating pain like something is ripping the veins out of your legs right down to your ankles.
Went for an MRI a few weeks ago; four knackered lumbar discs! Due to see an orthopaedic specialist next Tuesday.
A friend who does a little accupuncture and therapy came to see us about ten days ago and showed me some exercises. It's been getting a little bit easier.
Then, today..ABSOLUTELY NO PAIN WHATSOEVER!! As in not a twitch, nothing, zip, nada!! I feel like I'm on cloud nine. Living with this for the last five months has been hell and feeling back to normal is just such bliss. Like it makes you feel guilty taking "normal" for granted when you get it.
Hope it's not a temporary lull!
Just great to be pain free!
Is it a co-incidence, or is it The Bash effect????
Any more cheques Uncle Mick?

Thats great news Tony, I sincerely hope it continues that way for you.I had a prolapsed disc around 6 years ago and was in severe sciatic pain for a few months, the whole cheek of the arse and down the leg thing. Had an op on my back and was instantly cured to this day. I still try not to take it for granted but what a wonderful feeling when the pain is gone !
I will be turning up On Friday around 14:00 ish. Looking forward to meeting you and everyone else.
all the best
Paul
