    Let Me Be the First.....

To CONGRATULATE the author of the excellent piece about Quigley Hollow Bashes in the Summer issue of Airgun World, which came through my letterbox this morning. Written by a Boinger Bard too. Two and a half pages of boinging goodness.

Thank you to all for your generous comments.

As those who know me on here would expect, the article had to be shortened as I got a little carried away......

But then, with such a unique little jewel that we've created and the many, excellent characters that make up The Bash, providing the inspiration and energy, that was always going to happen.

The article had me confused at first when I started to read it yesterday, I thought who's this Antonio Lembo bloke then the penny dropped when I saw the caption on the photo with the Predator-- I'd recognise that ponytail anywhere.

Congrats TonyL on a well written article, even if Terry had to cut it down to only 3 pages!

    Cheers

Sorry about that, but I have to say that Tony's original 43 pages of text was a pleasure to edit.

    He's keen, our Tone.

    Bloody typical.

There's an article in Airgunworld about the Boinger Bash, and Mrs Shembi at the Quigley Hollow corner shop doesn't have it on the shelf.

I've even ventured into the big city (Nuneaton) in search of a copy to no avail.

When I do eventually find a copy Tone, I expect your article to be nothing less than a cross between War and Peace and Fifty Shades of Grey --- no pressure.

I just hope you've pointed out that the thing that's made the Boinger Bash a success each time has been the great folks who show up.

    All the best Mick

Thanks, John, and to all you other nice chaps for the nice comments.

I've not seen it myself yet and, as I'd sent the text of the daft e-mail thing that's attached to the iPad, it's got my full name on it!!
