Crossfire aren't bad, Bruce but the Diamondback are the better optic mate.
The Viper and ultimately, the Razor are the real gems - but prices reflect this.
Put on heading 270, assume attack formation

Thanks mate. I think I'll wait for the diamondback. 2-7x35 looks nice.... Then all I need is a rifle lol. Hope all is well!

    krazy_horse,

    +1 on the Simmons WTC 1-5 x 20.

I have used one for about ten (10) years on my 0.177 TX200Mk3, and have found it to be excellent.

I had to adjust the parallax correction to around 35 yards, as it comes factory set at around 100 yards, but this was very simple after a chappie at Simmons talked me through it.

    Have fun

    Best regards

    Russ

I you are willing to push the objective then you may want to have a look for the Nikko Nighteater 2.5-10x42. I bought three after looking through one. Super clear glass with excellent light transfer with side parallax to boot.
You can spend thousands and still miss a barn door or spend just enough and enjoy yourself. If you haven't got the talent to start with a million pound won't fix it. Whippet, Russell, a few bang sticks and a flat cap. http://www.smart-tech1st.co.uk

    No Brice I have a Diamondback 2-7x35 and a 2-8x32 hp.

Both awesome optics and the ret suits HFT .177 a treat.

they do a lot of 3 gun shooting over the pond and they have some cracking scopes for this. they would make great ratting scopes in the UK.

if you can afford the vortex razor!

slightly cheaper, the vortex viper pst

Or cheaper still, the vortex strike eagle

also take a look at the Millet DMS scopes

and the Burris MTAC is pretty popular over there

    Small objective bell scopes.

As per rabbitwrecker, you'd be hard pressed to beat the old Weaver scopes, but not many around. On a budget then the Tac Vector 1x4x24 for £80 looks a good bet. Eye relief in order of 2". Use one myself and it meets my needs nicely.

Postman's just been and he had my Rhino scope in his bag.

It looks like a well made scope, typical of Far Eastern manufacture. It did need a quick reparallax to bring it down to air rifle ranges, but as neither the locking ring or the objective lens are loctited in place (thank goodness) it was really only a five minute job. Optics are nice and bright and clear.

One thing to be aware, the reticule is in the first focal plane and on 2.5mag it is pretty small, but considering the price, the fact that it comes with a set of mounts, and an illuminated reticule, I think you'd be hard pressed to find much to criticise.

Now I just need to get to the range to work out all my POI's.
