    What a Shot

Which gave me great pleasure today at Fieldshot my local range. One of the guys picked up a friend's Prosport, (possibly for the 1st time). He said I'll have a shot at that string that's lost it's golfball.

The golfballs at 62 yards are our 'Holy Grail'. WHAP went the string, like a whiplash. Felt priviliged to see such a shot!
Seize the Day! Quigley Hollow is a great place to start.

Good shooting but just a word of caution about using golf balls suspended on string or wire as targets.

They are very prone to causing ricochets. These can come straight back towards the shooter or to others alongside him on the range.

The pellets can also come back at velocities well in excess of that necessary to take an eye out.

Shooting them at longer ranges will minimise the risk but better to be safe than sorry.
