BSA Mercury, Challenger and the Airsporter are cracking guns when sorted.

Far too many rifles to list now, all mainly British but the odd pesky foreigner has snuck in

Plus the Jackal / AA sidelevers can be OK (and are collectable).

    Birmingham Xocet

A derivative of the Vulcan but with a far superior two stage trigger and anti-twang mechanism. A nice powerful rifle.

Just happens to be a very nice example in 0.177 available here and quite close to you

Original 45 or Feinwerkbau Sport. Had both and shot superb.
You can spend thousands and still miss a barn door or spend just enough and enjoy yourself. If you haven't got the talent to start with a million pound won't fix it. Whippet, Russell, a few bang sticks and a flat cap. http://www.smart-tech1st.co.uk

I think the above just about covers it.

My two favourite would be the FWB Sport and Anshutz 335.

Another one to add to the list, maybe, the Hammerli sidelevers?

most already said. all time favourite has to be the superstar, from the old rusty Mk1 i bought for a fiver. to MK2 and 3 that cost a bit more.
did like the ASI paratrooper. loverly likkle plinker and pigeon dropper.
then got into baikals thanks to SMK.
dont mention jakal. my mate has has one his dad owned, been trying to buy it for years. it came over from cyprus at the propper power level.
nearly forgot. the biathlon trainer. synthetic skeleton stock, diopter sights if you missed a barn door with it you were pissed or blind.
the only thing i can find wrong is the nut on the steering wheel.

Power would not be an issue. 9.5 to 10 fpe would be sufficient. I imagine recommended calibre would be 22.

Love Weihrauchs but I'd like to hear about other guns for a change.
As a collectors item from that period one like this might be my choice

My favourite Webley, they take a trigger upgrade, V Mach do kits for them, they have perfect sweep in 22 for UK level, are compact, and cheap, the barrels always like the RWS pellets, ( as well asbFTT AA Vintage Defiant) ......

I like the BSA Superstar too, safest loading mech is a nice bonus
Looking for TO-6 Trigger unit unmessed with or T0-6 kit for 34

I was pleasantly suprised by a Mk 4 (69?) Airsporter, which I bought as a stop gap until a Mk 1 or 2 came along. Very nice gun, & sees far more use than the Mk 2 I bought later.
    Webley Mk3 x2, Falcon & Junior rifles, HW35x2, AirSporter x2, Gold Star, Meteors x2, Diana 25. SMK B19, Webley Senior, Premier, Hurricane x 2, Tempest, Dan Wesson 8", Crosman 3576, Legends PO8.
