    Exactly.
And many more UK airgun shooters are now buying from German Dealers on price ,service, and because we cannot buy new via the Internet in the UK due to our laws.

So if I want a new airgun I can get it sent to my door cheaper from Germany or have to go in person to an
    English gunshop and pay more!
Hope that's explained it Aimless and enjoy your Webley.

Thanks to slug-gun for the fine supertarget.

Question: Did the rifle ever had a recoil-pad/-plate and were can I buy one (to hide some drilled holes)?

    -advices appreciated-

Only the very rare 'de-luxe' version of the Mk.3 was fitted with a butt plate. Easiest and neatest way to deal with the holes is to buy a good quality wood filler and fill them. Will be hardly noticeable if done carefully.

Can anyone please recommend a German dealer? I've just been quoted 127 euros postage on a pistol - they must be able to send it cheaper than that surely.

Steve, which way do you want to send? UK to Germany or the other way?

    Hi Jochen,

i was looking to buy from a German dealer. I've bought from Buinger before but they want 127 Euro plus tax for postage as they say the normal carriers are no longer permitted to take 'weapons'.

I've also bought from Sportwaffen Schneider who's postage was a more reasonable 20 odd Euros but I couldn't make the online order form work!

Hi Steve, I have good experience (private selling to UK) with DHL-parcels. They can be tracked and I donīt need to declare the content.
The german dealer should only pack the parcel and send it.......any problems due to e.g. customs shall / will be solved by the buyer. But I donīt know their delivery-contracts.

Maybe you can tell them just to send via DHL - nothing more.

    Best regards, Jochen

Problem solved. I reverted to the German order form rather than the English one and it worked no problem.

Schneider are sending via DHL for about 18 Euros so I don't know if Buinger were correct or whether an air pistol is a 'weapon' in that context.
