Crap for hunting mate, too scared of buggering up the stock & bluing

No gun is ever 10/10 in my opinion there's always something that you'd want different.

HW97 Lazerhunter bull barrel now residing with another bbs member polished of course.
Dragging a five star stock through the brambles, heaven forbid.

Of the many guns I have owned during the past 30 years , the new Venom 80 Lazahunter I picked up last year is undoutbly the best of the best . Accuracy wise , the longer I own it ,the better it gets . It remains the only gun I now use , both in the field and down at the indoor or outdoor club ramges . In my opinion , guns are not just for admiring ,although it has to be said that there is a lot to admire about a Venom 80 . Any small knocks and scrapes gained in the field are a pain , but something you have to live with and actually add character to the gun . I would strongly recommend one to anybody ,as long as you are prepared to wait a long time for the gun to be fully built to Venom standards . Check out the Rivington Riflemen web site for a picture of me shooting the gun during our recent charity shoot . Go on , you know it makes sense...

I will try and get camera and rifle in the same place, but it could take a while as I'm off work at the mo, and the camera's at work.

The gun is in 12ft/lb format . The standard 80 cylider is sleeved with an HW77 item and allows the use of the Venom internals for that gun . The FAC version retains the original cylinder diameter allowing the larger components to generate additional power . The 77 gear reduces the lock time and generates an unbelievably quick firing cycle . Result is a springer , in my opinion ,without compare , period . Andy .
