Maldon and District Airgun Club would like to announce their 2015 charity shoot in aid of Action for Family Carers.

This shoot will be held the day before the Buxted national on Saturday the 18th of July. The M.A.D Charity shoot has been sponsored by the Airgun Center in Rayleigh, who have donated over £600 in prizes. On top of this, we are in contact with other major sponsors and we are hoping to announce this very soon.

The shoot will comprise of a top level UKAHFT spec course In the woods, plus a precision side shoot on the plinking range. After the shoot there will be a raffle and an auction and between us all, we hope to raise a considerable sum for this fantastic charity.

Action for Family Careers help all sorts of people. People who have to care for a loved one, a loved one that is either sick or terminally ill. They help by giving carers support and providing respite care for the sick. One of their biggest challenges is helping young children who have to care for their parents and the AFC supply days out and counseling for kids who should really be leading a normal life instead of the incredible job they do.

They are a wonderful organisation and if you want to learn more, you can find out more information here.
