    Umarex 586/686 Magazine Holder

    Hi,

I spotted on youtube a clip of someone with a Umarex 586/686 Magazine Holder on their belt? Appreciate if someone could tell me where I could source one or mail me a pic so that I can try and copy the design?

    Thanks

Although not for the 10 shot S &W mags, there is an old sales thread here.
The photo link has gone, but it was a basically a stainless steel bar that you stack the smaller 8 shot mags onto. The device clipped on your belt.
You could PM the seller in case they bought it from a bespoke maker? You could try searching the UBC for any info.

Thanks, I've read that there is a chap called 'Vince' on the UBC that makes them . Tried to register on both the IPSC and UBC websites this week but registrations are still pending approval.

    Magazine holder

Mine was made by a chap called John Beattie of Pistol Leather UK, and he makes all sorts to customers' specifications. Mine is for the smaller 8 round Umarex magazines, and is a quality bit of kit. No cheap thin plate or spikes here:

The spikes are nicely turned at the end to blunt them, and there's a milled recess into which a rubber 'o' ring has been pressed - this means the magazines can be added or removed easily but can't bounce off under their own steam.

    Hope that helps,
    Bonedome.
