    webley falcon

    Hiya folks,
The guy who sold me the job lot last week mentioned that he had a Webley falcon and did I know anything about them, the answer was no, it has a serial no of 1208 so I think quite an early one, it's in great working order but as the others has rust.
From what ive learned off here they have no value but make better money broken down and sold as spares, seems a shame as it's a lovely little gun.
Could someone please give a rough estimate of age?
    Cheers,
    Jamie.

    Webley Falcon

The Falcon rifle was made between 1962 and 1971, with a total of around 10,000 being produced ie roughly 1000 per year. This should give you a good idea of the date for yours. We "veteran" shooters have been known to look out for older Webley rifles, as they were often the guns we couldn't afford at the time, but we can now the kids have gone and the mortgage is paid off. Why not ask for a valuation? You may be better selling it intact and it would be a shame to break up a nice gun.

I had a Webley Falcon for my 12th birthday and almost 48 years later, I'm still enjoying it.

That has to say something about the Falcon.....

    Steve.
