Picked up the 6" 586 today

I got a 6" Smith in black today and am a bit disappointed with it , the trigger is heavy on single and double action , the trigger my SAA Colt is much better . I was also hoping that it would be more accurate too , it is but not by much , and Ive cleaned the barrel . With a bit of luck there going to do the Colt in a rifled barrel pellet version with adjustable sights that would be nice

Yup, the Peacemaker has a very light trigger, just like the real thing, but so does the 586 eg just like the real thing. All depends what you are used to, keep practicing.

I must have a Friday afternoon pistol then my colt has a much better trigger than the Smith

Sorry, I was meaning the 586 trigger isn't nearly as light as the Colt replica, ie it is about the same pull weight as a real 586
