    Webley Target Grips

Does anyone out there make a set of target grips for Webley pistols? I don't mean just a pair of wooden scales, proper grips with thumb rest an maybe even a palm shelf.
The South of England has 2 good things, the M1 and the A1. Both will take you to Yorkshire.

I find it more chalenging than using my Fwb 80. The Tempest certainly lets you know if you get your technique wrong. It's not forgiving of even the smallest mistake. Moving back to 20 Yds (with the appropriate target, of course) is also "interesting".
The grips arrived, courtessy of Airgunner177, and I'm well pleased with them.

I'm with you on this harry mac! I too stick to "normal" air pistols for target shooting to see what I can do with them. I find, as you do that The Tempest, Hw45 etc are more challenging and really make you work for your hits. ATB. Pete.

I wouldn't even try "target grips". I like em bog standard and try to see what I can get out of them. I've had a Gamo Compact. Found it too clinical and dare I say a bit boring after a while. Don't get on with palm shelves and the canted wrist approach. Just my take on it. ATB. Pete.

All my Wobbly pistols have airgunner177 grips now, they really do make a difference.

Leaving that aside, before I fitted them, I've had lots of Webley pistols, from a pre war Junior, smoothbore 177 to a very late Tempest. Mk 1, Senior, Premier, Hurricane(s) Tempest, in both calibres.
For accuracy, my favourite is the Hurri in .22 followed by a late one in 177. Leaving aside the Junior & Mk 1, which I lost/sold years back, the worse is the Tempest. Next worse the Senior, the '64 (?) Premier is in the middle.
    Webley Mk3 x2, Falcon & Junior rifles, HW35x2, AirSporter x2, Gold Star, Meteors x2, Diana 25. SMK B19, Webley Senior, Premier, Hurricane x 2, Tempest, Dan Wesson 8", Crosman 3576, Legends PO8.

Inspector, they seem very rare and elusive items, do they really exist?

    Very very nice

Andy made some lovely grips for my EB22. Talented chap, very reasonably priced and great service.
