    Webley Junior pistol valuation

Good evening, I bought a job lot of three Webley pistols from a nice chap on this forum a few months back with a view to some vintage postal shooting and to sell on one or maybe two. Anyway, this it the one I'm considering selling. It is in good working order, boxed, and in relatively good cosmetic condition with pellet tin and targets so might appeal to the collectors rather than for regular use.

Can anyone be so kind as to suggest a sensible value please?

Nice complete set but that pitting will bring any estimate down, as pristine boxed Juniors are not that scarce. I would suggest a value around the £100 mark.

    Kind regards,

Ditto. The box and pellets represent a significant proportion of the value of this set.

Thank you very much for the info. I've just taken the pellet tin out to photograph the contents and discovered the base of the tin has been butchered! See attached. I guess this is going to devalue it quite a bit. However, do the pellets look original, they are certainly not modern by any stretch of the imagination?

Shame about the damage to the pellet tin. A nice undamaged tin of this vintage would normally fetch around £20 empty. If it were full and still had the red cloth tape intact, it could fetch £60 or maybe a bit more. The pellets present in your set probably won't add much more to its value which I would estimate at £8-£10 due to condition.
