Got my Colt SAA Peacemaker (first impressions & mini review)

The Quick and the Dead, an excellent film with lots of focus on lovely western guns.

I too had a healthy fascination with cap guns, brilliant toys. Back then it felt almost as if you were packing a Colt Detective Special, with flash, smoke and a weedy bang (Not that it sounded weedy at the time).

Yes, strange how most of the 'cowboy' cap guns were pimp, I mean nickel type plated. The Detective Special had a great big bang to it as I remember as well as a satisfying smell of burnt powder after firing.
