Cool Sussex Interclub HFT - Round 7 Results

Hi all sunburnt competitors from an airfield in West Sussex

I’m sure I heard a ‘local’ mention they thought there would be a clearance during today’s SIHFT – care of the complete lack of wind.

Quite obviously, the windless conditions only followed one person round today – Charles Peal. Well done, Charles – top shooting; just one short of the magic clearance. The rest of us had to contend with a tricky breeze, which changed direction and strength almost as many times as there were pegs out on the concrete. Special well dones to all the Gold class winners – anything mid 50s or higher was hard earned.

Compared with Round 6 at Mile Oak, today’s 59 meant badges were hard to come by, but didn’t stop us awarding 3rd and 4th Platinum badges of the season – to Charles (of course) and Steve Light. Rudy picked up his from R6 – overlooked on the day (sorry Rudy).

Here is the full set of results ….......

On transferring spreadsheet from one PC to another and sorting in to results order (by class) I spotted that today we had recorded - incorrectly - Daniel Smith as in Open; should have been .22.

This means he earned a BRONZE badge.

Sorry Daniel. Please remind me at the next round and collect your badge.

Hadn't been to Ford for years, don't think I'll go there again!
Seriously though, great day and company.
Couldn't do a thing right in that wind, well done to all those that did

Thanks to all who came along today, a shame the burger van didn't make it so sorry about that.

Great weather, thanks to Kev and Dave for the excellent company. Congrats to Charles on an amazing score, if you weren't such a splendid chap, in possession of such talent and a huge contributor to the sport I might start to feel a grudge-or even a chip on my shoulder

I really thought I was on for half decent score until I dropped 7 out of the last 10

I enjoyed today massively. Thanks to everyone who contributed
