    George,

Many thanks (I hope you had a most enjoyable Xmas )

Finally did the December Rifle/Pistol cards yesterday, despite feeling a bit green around the gills

I seemed to shoot slightly less badly than normal - I suppose the ill-feeling blotted everything out

    Have fun

    Best regards

    Russ

Thanks for your scores and xmas greetings - and the same to you.

All scores recorded and updated to bbs, it is looking good as more complete the series - I love filling in empty gaps in spread sheets, I must be nuts!

Best cheers for the holiday season

Bob has sent in his final pistol scores putting him up to second spot. Having a look at the pistol scores and one Mark (Xdriver) stands out with a real improvement over the series, so well done Mark I hope you are addicted.

    Best cheers

    Indeed very fair Bob.

Thought I'd tripped up there , I went out for a beer last Friday thinking I'd get the last cards shot before the Year's end. Only got home yesterday.

Oct & Nov scores sent in to George and I'll shoot the final ones tomorrow when the shakes have subsided. Darts party tonight...

As a late entry to the rifle comp, I'm steeling myself to do the whole thing in a single evening (or spread over a couple of evenings if that's too hard), with the cut-off date looming close!

But I am getting ready... the Original 66 is propped up against the computer as I type.

So, sorry George, my scores will be arriving in one go. However, they're not likely to affect the medal positions.

And there was me thinking Mr Manywheels can only shoot off a sandbag...

Well I've done four months out of the six, and it's not going well George.

I'm shooting like a bad lover.

That is changing technique every two minutes, and going bang at the wrong times.

I've not scored any cards yet, but I'm sure to be well below my (already poor) normal index.

I call on excuse #37 (bad back).

And the shutoff date draws ever closer...

It's not easy this match shooting lark, is it?

Phil should "keep at it" - practice make perfect

. . . and some more practice may even help his rifle shooting too

    Hi Phil,

The answer is to get your 2016 Spring/Summer entry in NOW so you have much more time to get to grips with your Model 66 at 6 yards - "multi-wheeler" also shoots a Model 66 so you can gain some inspiration from that - perhaps

It is nice to see that we have a few more entries in the rifle section for the new competition - so it will be good to see what classics are being pressed into regular MPL service.

    Best regards - Bob.

I gotta be fair Bob - he has the style, and the scores to match.

Well it was a battle - but my scores are submitted.

Thank you for stewarding another season, Gentlemen.

I hope you enjoyed the experience enough to have another go in the new MPL competition that starts about NOW !

You even have enough time to shoot in the pistol and the rifle comps

Lots of scores coming in so I will wait until late tonight to update on here but there is movement at the top of the rifle table and a new competitor there too- Rooti who shot all six rounds and has submitted scores.
Well done to everyone with the autumn series - "the trip into darkness and the cold", but our log burner is now on and I scorch my legs shooting in the house, oh the hardship. Nice to see people shooting from all over the UK and all with a common aim (pun intended) having fun with some cheap but useful target toys. Looking forward to the new season that goes into the light and good weather and using the Pardini P10 that I've been loaned as the fwb 65 was destroying my technique at 10m which I shoot a lot now, thanks to getting into target sports via this competition.
I've even been up to see Bob (Zooma) this year in his church target range, what a great bloke!

Have a look later at the scores for the final update of this series

    Best cheers
    George
