    vvn110 can this be used for 38/357 in a marlin Cowboy?

    looking at any form of charge,up to 100 yards with lead cast bullets,no gas checks
    thank you
    I normally would use n320 but this tub was inherited.

    Nope.
    It is listed for use with .50AE or .500 S&W Magnum but not for the .38/.357
    I'm using N320 in my Marlin .38/.357 and am happy with the results.

    the maximium loads may be too hot for lead bullets with no gas check but you can load lighter without a problem.

    Myself and all my shooting buddies tried Vit 110 in our 357 revolvers back in the day, when it got touted as the be all and end all for the 357.
    Well our trials did not last very long, the long kernals made accurate metering through powder measures impossible.
    However if you are prepared to trickle each load i cant see any reason why it should not be sucessful but volume reloading and trickling dont go hand in hand.
