Anyone got a pecar standard 4 x 35 ?? Advice needed.

I've just been given a Pecar Standard 4 x 35, lovely scope with crystal clear glass which I want to sell soon but it looks like the eyeball or ocular end is not adjustable or maybe it's seized. I've owned other larger Pecar's in the past and they had adjustable eye pieces to get the reticles sharp like most scopes but this one appears to be different as the reticle seems sharp not just for me but for others too that have looked through it so can anyone confirm that these small Pecar's don't have adjustable eye pieces ? My gut feeling is that it's seized as all the scopes I've handled over the years are adjustable but I don't want to force it until I'm 100% sure.

Not exactly common scopes, does it have a locking ring? My 8x45 champion does & it's adjustable. do a search for secondhand ones Theres an rfd who has a few for sale he might know if you ring them. sorry I can't remember who it is but they're uk based & came up on a search I did trying to value mine.

Thanks for that. It does appear to have what looks like a lock ring although it could be just a moulding but it will not budge, if it is a lock ring. I'll have a look for the dealer you mention.

Could it be Emma Rifles in Darlington you're thinking of?

They usually have a good few Pecar scopes second hand.

I have the same ,mine will adjust but its quite stiff to turn..

All sorted now. Bit of gentle heat and now adjusts as it should, nice and smooth.
