    webley service F. E. MORTON BOOKLET

    On sea bay, vender claims its an original, it has the same pattern cover as my reprint copy, covers are supposed to be one offs, whats the experts opinion? ATB, Ray.

    From the condition it could well be a 6th. edition replica, and as you say, it has the replica pattern cover.
    It would be interesting to know what he bases his 'original' description on.

    I notice the seller describes the condition as 'mint'. An overused term if ever there was one. Nonetheless the booklet does not look 75 years old to me.

    The trouble with the reprint is it was very good and you really need to compare it with an original if you are offered one that looks aged. Personally I'd be suspicious of any 6th editions that are offered as originals without a close inspection.

    This looks like a reprint to me too.

    The 6th edition copies are fairly easy to find, I have bought a few from £10 - £15. Protek often sell this type of thing.
