I think this also has a Lothar Walther barrel ?
Rarer and better than the 717 base model( which is pretty good as well )

    Correct.

I think the only difference between this and the top of the range Daisy ssp, the model 777, is the 747 has plastic grips not wood (but I have been known to be wrong. Ask the Mrs)

What a prime opportunity for some one to start collecting Daisy Powerline pistols by buying two of the rarest of the versions. Very practical and accurate pistols and far more useful than Wobblys.

Examples of the other more common 717 and 727 should be easy enough to find.

    [Thats sales pitch.]

Difference between 747 and 777 is wood target grips on the 777 and the front and rear sights on the 777 are different as well - more target oriented than the lower models.
People who have been there focus on the fundamentals. People who sit at keyboards all day focus on the trivial and inane.
