    Apologies didn't mean to offend anyone I am just stating that there is more of a case for what we have left than a semi auto 7.62 battle rifle and pistols.

    Because they are seen as tools mainly.

    It's difficult to get the details across on a forum post.

    Plus you can still shoot an SLR just not in semi auto.

    Also you can Get a lever release AR if you want.

    Because now firearms are used as 'tools' by civilians for specific tasks or as they put it 'good reason' then we will get to keep using them for those tasks and of course target shooting as a sport.

    They will not be banned.

    Anyway this is off topic and I don't want to hijack the thread.

    East Lothian would be my choice if I had to move to that part of the world. Masses of shooting opportunities fishing and quite quiet.
