    Oaks Cancervive Charity Shoot Results

Well done to everyone who braved the weather to take part in todays competition.
    Highlights must be:
Mike Burgess scoring 59 - sadly dropping the last shot..... (he will be having words with Mr Byford about target 15!)
We had 6 competitors who had never tried HFT before and I hope enjoyed themselves - I know they really appreciated the time from the shooters they were paired with, Nigel Buchan in particular said he learnt lots!
Obviously one of the main aims of the day was to raise some money for Cancervive and I am please to say we have been able to pass them £429.
Thanks again to Claire at Air Arms and Nick at Get Airgun for the raffle prizes and Paul, Helene and Isobel for keeping us fed and watered and Lewis for helping Marshal. Finally thanks to all who pulled the field in so quickly.

Whoopee!! That's a lot of money for relatively few shooters!

Remind me to pay my bit!

What about target 15??...let me guess you shot it at 45yds.... Such a crying shame.....or not! Ha!

Love to see the Club giving to worthy causes, well done to all involved!! XX

Congratulations Charles & Co for a great fun shoot. Weather wasn't as bad as forecast so some missed out on shooting for a worthy cause.

Well done to Michael & Amanda Arkwell on their first HFT both getting equal scores.

Cheers everyone for a great days shoot and company, very enjoyable.

    See you all soon

Thanks Charles/Oakies and all involved in making today such a good fun shoot. Even the weather did its best to behave a bit. Great to hear we raised a bit money for the charity.

Thanks Maciek for your company today and I am chuffed to have actually won something - in the raffle.

Looking forward to the Air Arms shoot next week and the no doubt triumphant return of Mr Dibbens.
