    Ramshot TAC Needed Urgently

I'm taking part in The Royal British Legion Charity comp on Saturday and need to load some more ammo for it. I've stopped using Varget for obvious reasons and have run out of Ramshot TAC that I've changed over to. It's a great powder by the way and is only around £32 a tub when I can get it.

Anyone know who stocks it in Kent or Sussex? If anyone can help, it will save me ringing round in the morning. GT Shooting in Coulsdon usually stock it but are out and Andy Allwood hasn't got any either. I can probably get some by driving 2 hours both ways but I'd rather not if it can be avoided.

I knew I should have worked up a Vit 140 load as well.

I get mine from MBR Sporting but he's near Surbiton which is a fair way away for you I guess.

All sorted now thanks to Chris at Stutely Guns. A bit of a road trip with my son but well worth the effort and a very nice, fully stocked gunshop.

I'm using Viht powders now as they are so much cheaper when bought in bulk!
    Thanks for looking

I found that TAC didn't meter very well in my powder measure (Lee I have had for years and never ever had a problem until TAC) and gave wildly different charges, I won't use it again even if it was available, ill stick with N140 and RS50

That why I wanted to try the TAC its a Ball powder its made for the new Lee Auto Drum
165$ for 8lb think that very good pity you can not get its, that works out at £128 for3.6KG

That's odd, as TAC runs through my Dillon so much better than Varget and I get more accurate loads, weight-wise, as a result.

No more' crunching' as the sticks are cut by the powder measure.

I must say that had wildboar been available both reliably and in bulk I would have still been using it. It metered like water through my Redding to within +/_ 2/200th and in the end I only weighed every 10 or so. This is handy when you are loading 200 a time, but a 1lb bottle is just crap.

sounds good, Will have to try the TAC but having 3.5kg of N140 will not need any for a long time
