I keep looking at this and thinking £350 but I could be way off --- I'm just basing that valuation on the fact that I bought my standard .22" D54 for £225.

Well apart from cardio workout you could cancel a gym membership with that, so that's probably a good selling point ..

I can't see it going for more than 350, in 22 I think your mate might be doing OK to get 300 for it. Defo gonna go for less than if 177.
Be a good fac rabbit gun off bipod for someone who has a half acre round their house kinda rifle .....

I guess it all depends on how much someone values the Custom Stock stock.

Personally, not much, it does not do anything for me, I especially don't like the way the trigger sits in it

I'd assign much more value to a factory Deluxe stock, but IIRC only available for the non recoilless 52.

The rest appears to be pure 54 in unexceptional condition, not very sought after in 12ft/lbs land, say £200 in a standard stock in condition matching the metalwork.

Knew I had asked the right people, I agree with all of you. It's heavy, with a massive cylinder designed of 20 odd foot pounds and does need a bipod. I will stick it in sales at £320 its a lot of gun for that sort of money.

Agree with the earlier comments RE: Stock - basically it doesn't ADD anything (despite costing a bomb, no doubt).

The basic M&G / Diana 48/52 & 54 'Dreadnought' stock would most likely appeal more to the guys on this section.

People keep banging on about these guns as potential 'Cannons' held back by the 12 FPE UK restriction but they are equally excellent running at less than 12 FPE - for accuracy


They are big and quite heavy rifles, not a bad thing if one desires a controlled shot cycle.

Agreed. They are sublime for accuracy potential. The shooter though, must do their part.
