Thanks so much to all involved in making it possible, you're all great.
Far too many highlights to mention but two things that stand out from the crowd at the November Springer Bash for me were:
    The FX Wildcat
    The Steyr Hunting 5

(Plus NickG's TX, Transporters 54 and my new 77 - but don't tell my Mrs)

    Cheers all.
    Craig

As ever, great to see you again, Craig.

Yes, that little Wildcat is rather nice.....might have to grovel to Clez for another go!

    No pictures, though!

And, indeed, that 54 was lovely.

At the Bash, we get spoiled with that many lively tuned rifles, each set up to the owners' preference. But, yes, that ally TX is really something that stands out.

    And Neil's 80 with the 77/97 spring....quite encouraging.

Mum's the word re the 77.

Be great if you can make it today!

    Oh yes!

Just think what lovely hand crafted beauties you might be bringing in April!

Cheers for the Prems, Jonathan; much appreciated and will report back once testing undertaken.

Make sure the camera's up and running.....The Predator is looking forward to your cuddling it and promises to be on its best behaviour!

Another big thank you to Mick and Shirl, a great day out as per usual, the 'boingers' were all as friendly and as obliging again in the use of their toys. The wind and rain was not wanted but that did not dampen the spirit of the 'Bash". Have a good un today you folks who are lucky enough to be there for the rest of the meet.
Kev's sarnies and coffee were as usual brill, and the Roast pork sarnie went down a treat, thanks Kev.
Thanks to Blackrider for the lift and his and Johnbaz's company was as expected excellent and very informative as regards airguns etc..
Thanks Mick for the use of the workshop, made all the difference.
    Cheers

    Great day yesterday!!
I covet Nick Gs HW77 a lot. I may just mug him for it ....
The Steyr Hunting was a beautiful gun but the FX Wildcat was a revelation for me, Finally I saw the point of a PCP air rifle. Light, beautiful to shoulder and amazing for standing shots. The most impressive air rifle I have shot in ages. Not as much fun as a springer though - but if I was in the market for a PCP a Wildcat would be right up there.
Shauny - some great guns - some superb work and a thoroughly good guy. Great to meet you and I hope you make some more of these bashes
Some chap turned up with a cardboard box full of used scopes for sale between a tenner and 30 quid!!
I got a Nikko Air King for 20 quid
I bought another stock for my 80 for 40 quid which allows me to go both routes with my project gun. I can refinish one stock standard and butcher the other for a play.

Cracking day, great folks as ever.

Mick - what you are building at Quigley Hollow .... well frankly it puts others to shame. Poly tunnel now boasts lighting so the shooting can continue when the light has gone!! He was saying that he want to put light further out too as he is not happy with it yet.

    Brilliant!

Same here, lovely to spend a few hours with you as always, mate.
Sadly I can't make it today, mate - taking the little'un swimming and then have house decorating stuff to do (penance for buying another rifle when I should have been selling some )
I'll give you a bell sometime in the next few weeks and we'll arrange a visit.
    Enjoy yourself today.

    Very best - Craig

Another top weekend at the Hollow .
Great to put a few more faces to usernames, have a bit of friendly plinking competition, deal with the Quigley Zephyr, down a few bacon baps/burgers/porky rolls (ummm, cracklin'), share some banter and generally have fun. Good times.

Thanks as ever to Mick & Shirl for making it happen and being such genial* hosts.

See you all in April. Time for a new sleepometer Tone?

    *applies to Shirl anyway.
