Just can't believe what fun it is - everyone so friendly and willing to let you try some really impressive hardware. How do you get guns to shoot like that? (Actually, I hope to find out when I get my LGU back after some radical surgery) If it shoots half as well as Neil's or Nick's it should cure my hankering for a TX SR.
Thanks Mick, for getting everything right -except perhaps the weather, I didn't know before that you could run out of mildots on the windage axis.
Well, can't really say anything that hasn't already been said up above.
All the above sentiments apply folks and great to meet all previous attendees again and to see such a healthy influx of friendly, smiling newbies.
Nick - that Steyr is, indeed, lovely, but don't you be telling anyone that I liked it, mind. I guess you'll be at the airport now, awaiting the boss. Hope you had an uneventful journey so far and that the remainder is equally trouble free.
Echoing Neil 180's observation as to the success and appeal of The Bash. Mick has really hit on such a perfect formula. Friendly, laid back and uncompetitive, but with a HUGE selection of varied targets to go at. The polytunnel protects us all from the elements and becomes the Hollow Haven. Superb catering from Kev - delicious food and drinks all delivered with a winning smile and character.
Days and days of free camping. Fires and fuel supplied and monitored by El Presidente.
So much hard work and planning goes into these events by Mick and Shirl. It could, very mistakenly, be easy for an outsider to just come along and take this for granted, but if we all remember where The Bash came from and how it evolved into the very special event that it is, entailing huge commitment from our brilliant hosts, it just goes to confirm that, when you want something that bad, and you're prepared to put your heart and soul into it, then only good can come out of it. And "good" is truly understating the brilliance of The Bash.
The Bash will continue to go from strength to strength; all down to the winning formulae and Mick and Shirl's unerring commitment.
Thank you Mick and Shirl. You done us proud, yet again.
And a big thank you to all those that attended, and to absent friends who couldn't make it this time, as The Bash simply couldn't happen without your support.
And Nick (18Wheeler) - thank you for sourcing those pellets and for your usual support and expertise - will get that Sleepometer readied.
THE BOINGER BASH AT QUIGLEY HOLLOW. MAKING GREAT MEMORIES SINCE 15th JUNE, 2013.

-2 sleeps now.
New sleepometer not commissioned yet!

Well done to Phil and Lewis for getting there yesterday after Saturday's fun and games. Lewis; make sure you take things easy on that shoulder, young man.
Did Jamie, Mel and the doggies stay over to keep the Bongo company?
New Paul - your genuine enthusiasm is positively addictive, matey; nice one.....we'll try and arrange that "thing", yeah? And The Tigger Boinger Rest (patent applied for!) actually worked really well.
Love ya all, you Merry Boingerfolk of Quigley Hollow!!

Home safe and sound, as ever massive thanks to Mick and Shirl, a really lovely weekend. Great to see all the boingers, both old and new, extra special thanks to Mick for removing my pesky rammer seal I can hopefully get the old girl up and running again now . Also many thanks to Craig p for the lovely hw95, top bloke it was a real pleasure, and am completely smitten with the 95. Got the post bash blues now. How many sleeps Tony? Again so good to see everyone, and a real pleasure to meet the new boingers especially nice to see Paul's two enjoying the weekend so much as total newcomers to the sport.
Until the next time guys and gals
All the very best
Baldy
Great to catch up with you again, Chris and I'm really happy my faithful 95 has gone to a great home.
Have fun mate and hopefully catch up with you at the next one.
Best regards, Craig.
Put on heading 270, assume attack formation
We finally got home at 10pm, very interesting shall we say drive home, massive gusts knocking the van and caravan sideways, and torrential rain.
Anyways, pails into insignificance after yet another awesome weekend with some truly great people. May have indulged myself a little too much with the fire water but Mel assured me I behaved myself and there shouldn't be anything appearing on YouTube.
Slinger, trumpetier and airgun monkey all passed their mole course with distinction, and hopefully go home to apply their new skills. Sorry those of you who found out too late that I was doing it, particularly new Paul as you are very keen to broaden your horizons.
Mick and Shirley are awesome as we all know, Mick kindly showing Mel how you really light a fire!
Papa and co, missing you all, already
Met some new friends too, captain, I hope your mum doesn't ground you when she sees what happened to her caravan!!!
Right I'm off, thanks everyone, it was emotional.
My Quigley Hollow fees always offer the best value I've ever had for £20......and they do it time after time, every time, this November was the 7th I think.
Thanks to Mick & Shirl, Kev the caterer & the Cleary Distillery Partnership (& welly removal specialists).
Thanks to Jamie for the excellent mole-trapping tutorial and to everyone else for being such good company.
@ Chris: Hope you had a good Club Sunday.
@ New Paul: Til' the next time Mate.

Seize the Day! Quigley Hollow is a great place to start.
Slinger69 the mole whisperer
them there springer's are soooooo addictive
Another good one, sorry not to say good bye on the way out Mick. Once the van was rolling, there was no stopping, didn't think it would get moving again.
Good company all round again.
Excellent to be back at the Hollow and even better to be going home with more twenties than I arrived with. The sloes we picked Saturday morning have gone into some gin, and my relaxed mood this morning has paid dividends, sold six pictures already.
Big thanks.
Dave
Smell my cheese
Trumpetier (aka windy Miller) and you no love me long time anymore?? you didn't even say good by! Ya miserable bugger.
If you did and I was still in the Cleary coma I will forgive you. Lol
