A long shot I know but did anyone follow the Webley museum sale and more to the point sale prices?.
Lot number 1118, a velocity test rifle, in particular.

Did you mean the Wallis & Wallis sale a few years ago where they sold off a lot of the old Webley stuff?
Ive still got their catalogue and picked up (via a local trader) a few lots including the prototype Omega http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Airs...ml?sort=6&o=88 a adjustable gas ram Omega http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Airs...ml?sort=6&o=92 a Vulkcan adjustable gas ram http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Airs...ml?sort=6&o=87 and a Barnett (read Webley) Spitfire http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Airs...ml?sort=6&o=89.
I missed out on a Webley Eclipse where the cocking lever was in the stock like the Airsporter.

Yes that's the one,I was hoping to go and bid myself.
The guy on the Webley range at Weston Park in 2005 seemed completely dejected,I sensed something bad was afoot.
Hi,
Just to be absolutely sure we have cleared things up, Lot 1118 the Webley Omega "Velocity Test Rifle" sold for £120 plus costs.
Let me know if there are any other realised prices from this sale which would be of interest.
