gun laws - it makes no wonder

Iv'e just been reading news on the sky news website, two articles which may be of interest, firstly this:http://news.sky.com/story/1552588/po...assacre-threat

Where in gods name do they get their information from? there is so much wrong in this article it beggars belief, now apparently 12lbs/ft is the amount of energy it takes to propel one pound twelve feet into the air and gunsafes must be bolted to the wall etc etc it makes no wonder there is so much confusion when the general public believe what the press print, there are probably other mistakes but lastly all you collectors beware, because there are only two reasons you can have a gun: for shooting at targets and for hunting, people will take what is written literally.

I was stood in the que at the supermarket and caught a glimpse of the front page of a newspaper ..didn't want to read more about politics but the half of the front page was headlined" gun control crisis " ....think it was the The Independant ....I was actually looking online just this minute before reading your thread Shabee .......front page news abut Gun Control and not about the Arms Fair in London I guessed .

Easier to "get a gun than a driving license" I heard on the radio this morning? Having waited almost 6 months for my FAC I'm not sure, having almost encountered some of the Romanian drivers around here I can assure anyone, a driving licence is much easier to obtain and potentially a lot more deadly!!!
