That's in nice nick Peter and these rifles were certainly well made.
I'm no expert on Originals but I think I recently saw one in a gun shop in 'as new' condition priced at £250.
Kind regards,
John
Does anyone collect 'Original' rifles ?

I have just received this one owner .177 sleeper, I never use the word 'mint' but this is very tidy and wonder if there is a home for it amongst collectors and any guess to it's value please Gentlemen....

I bought this http://smg.photobucket.com/user/Airs...5.jpg.html?o=0 off Jono_7 on here last week for £100 (plus delv.) Its in very good condition, dated 1989 and shoots nice.
I know of a minty. boxed Original/RWS45 being sold by a dealer for £325.
So, anything between.

The Original 35 is a very well made rifle, but overlooked and typically they sell for far less than I think they are worth.
I think you would struggle to sell it for more than 150 pounds to be honest and probably less than that even!

Too wet for the fence then?
Saw a excellent 35S at Bisley recently for £140 and I think that struggled to sell. A greatly underrated air rifle.

underrated: yes, but the plastic-age started at that time (trigger guard and rear cap).
The 36 is very rare and a possible price at E**N is IMHO 200...250€ in mint condition. She has a safety at the rear cap.

Mine is tested with 200 m/s (255 fps) and 10 joule. Very good to shoot at 50 yds.
.22 actually but did I tell you it came with a scope, mounts and arrestor block?

I really do hope this finds a good home as they look fine rifles and this example looks fantastic.
£200 would't be robbing anyone. Scacity in the UK would put it above a FWB Sport by quire a margin.
I don't consider myself as a big collector any more but I do think mint or near mint is important for this period of rifle. Sure there are plenty of well used ones, but mint or near mint is relatively unusual.
£100 could buy nearly anything if you happen to be in the right place or goal hanging on the right forum at the right time. Thats the luck of your effort.
Anyhow, who else likes "mint", or factory fresh?
What premium should they hold?
Anyone know of a mint Webey MKI Vulcan? I think a factory fresh one would be rare as they were so cheap they were all used and abused.
That looks like a nice tidy Model 35.
I have a small collection of Original air rifles - all in .177 as it is the only calibre we are allowed to shoot on our club range and I like to exercise them all as often as I can.
I don't have a Model 35 yet but I think that is a gap that needs filling sometime in the future and with a matching Original diopter.
No surprise that IJ picked one up at a good price - no doubt he will be showing it off sometimes in the future - and if not then he will not fail to talk about it.

That's one of the jokes!
But I see it is a target club which answers my query.
I just pick up a 35 target model with a left hand stock should be in tomoz
post
I have a 25 45 and a 50.
Where would a 35 fit in?
I cant see it is collectable at all
