    Webley Tracker pellets

I tried my tracker at the club today and the "grouping" at 25yds was approx 1 1/2-2". I was using FTT pellets and know I need something more suited to the 5.6mm barrel. I have read other posts and searched etc before posting this, and have Milbro Cal Ultra, TR and Wasps on the possibles list.
All I want is for someone to wave their magic wand and save me buying tins of gash pellets and just get the right one first time.

    Izzy-whizzy, let's get busy!

Is it not a larger head size that's needed then? I know a wider/thinner skirt should help power, but are 'domes accurate in English barrels?

    Good move on the 'domes.

Tried Hobbys? They seem to work OK in almost everything.

Defiant Vintage 5.6 are worth a go. They're still around if you look for them (Chris Thrale at Pax has a stash).

I have some Hobby and will get some domes next time I'm in my local shop. I have just ordered 250 each of Milbro Cals, TR, Ultra and Select. If nothing else it'll be a fun afternoon testing them!

I have a small batch of .22 Webley Lazadomes for my Tracker, which shoot better than contemporary Lazapells and other pellets such as Hobbies and FTT. As both were made by JSB, my thinking is some JSB pellets ought to work as well.

My .22 Ospreys/Trackers have shown accuracy with these pellets(varying between examples):
    5,6mm old Wasp
    5,5mm old Gamo Match
5,5mm old RWS hobby (have not tried the new hobbies)
5,53-5,55mm FTT's (there have been some inconsistecies in these pellets, you need to sort out the loose ones in some batches)
5,5mm old or new RWS Superdome
    5,5mm RWS Meisterkugeln
    5,5mm Milbro TwinRing
    5,5mm Milbro Select

My rifles are set up with Jim Maccaris "ultra XLD" HW99/50s spring and some spacing, this does not reduce power in mechanically sound guns, but reduces recoil a lot.
