thanks binns still havent got the hang of putting links up; that 1906 bsa with scope is interesting
i had a close look, some ones fitted scope blocks to the action ,made a nice job to! but as vick
says it was done sometime ago well before they became a collectable.
what about that boxed centenary with its bsa bag a real collectors find.
someone must have been choked to part with some of these ;maybe not the relum but i like it.
fascinating the .177 centenary owned by j walters the paperwork says that he fired 10 shots over
the period of his ownership to prove its action.
the hammerli must have been used as a trgt rifle in its life as its got a brass plate fitted into
the underside of the stock with threaded holes at graduated positions for riser of some kind.

Me too. I've often gone in with the intention of stocking up on pellets or paper targets and come out with a rifle or pistol! You just never know what you'll find in there.

This reminds me of a gentleman who times a trip down from london and back then
to stow his latest purchase before his wife gets back from having her hair done.
not sure if he will achieve this now, if any ones seen the state of south coast railways!
there is a convoy of replacement buses at every station ;might be better if they concrete
over the tracks and let the buses use them
