    Question AA P/T service?

Not wanting to confuse Martinbtb's post in the sales section.

He say's, AA quoted him £75 for replacing the cylinder end plug (filling) Pt' No' S390.

Am I correct in thinking, this replacement is part of AA's full P/T service? So maybe not quite the extorsion it appears.

When I replaced my own quick fill snap on conector. I held the cylinder with my car oil filter removal belt, to prevent the cylinder coming away from the action.

The end plug came away from the cylinder as well as. So I gripped the flange of the end plug in the vice to seperate the two.

I had an "O" ring (RN234) the correct size. So no problem in reassembling.

I said an easy DIY job. It is, to someone with a little engineering ability + tools.

I'm not sure what the AA P/T service covers.

    Can anyone tell me?

    Ray

    P.S.
What can be wrong with Martinbtb's P/T end plug?

No idea, but they are suprisingly easy guns to work on.

With instructions from the ever-helpfull BBS I serviced the reg in mine a while back, really quite straightforwards.

    Great guns
Always looking for any cheap, interesting, knackered "project" guns. Thanks, JB.

    Hi' BB,

I had my one serviced a little while ago.

I'll get in touch if I want to service my one myself.

Do you need a special tool to remove the reg' from the action?

There's a few bargain P/T's around at the mo'

    Ray
