    10m air pistol advice please

When is the shooter supposed to establish his grip for the shot? Is it while the pistol is down by
his side or when addressing the target?

    Thanks.

It looks like you would benefit from some coaching; why not take up I. J.'s invitation to the chicken shed ?

You can contact him via the Rivington website - see my signature.

I would wait until you get a pistol before worrying about the grip.

I always address the target with ...'Dear target, Please me kind '.

The grip should be established when you first pick up the pistol and then not changed until all the targets have been shot. I push the pistol into my right hand so the skin is slightly stretched in the web and then use the elasticity of the skin to help hold the pistol in place.
