For Sale. An original Seventh Edition of Frank Morton's Hints On Air Rifle Shooting.
A copy of this booklet accompanied every Webley Service air rifle at the point of sale. This is an original and not the often seen Sixth Edition that was copied around 1990. Booklet is in very much used and tatty condition and is missing the fold out exploded diagram that was originally gummed behind the rear cover. Some pages have been repaired with the careful application of archival tape, which does not damage paper in the way sellotape does (see images). The two (double sided) central pages in particular have suffered over time and were repaired with sellotape some time ago (not by me!), which has stained them. However all pages are complete and images of Frank Morton demonstrating the Webley Service are first generation rather than the copied images in the Sixth Edition, which are not quite so clear. A rare opportunity to acquire an original booklet to accompany a boxed, cased or simply a display Webley Service air rifle. It's a good read too, with Frank's hints proving as relevant today as they were during the 1930s. £28
