    Blueing an action-recommendations

    Good afternoon Gents
I need to have re-blued a TX200 action. I live in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire and would like to stay local if at all possible. However quality and price are considerations and I am prepared to post/travel to achieve those considerations (and a balance of the two). I would also be interested in others views/experiences with regard to some of the coatings available.
Also taking into account time, how far should I go in preparing the action for 'coating' and how much prep is required to give a good finish.
I have read Micks (t20) thread on acid rust blueing but I am not ready for that degree of dedication at this time.
I look forward to your comments and advice.
    Regards
    David

Just send it to Paul Chell on facebook, around £70 for complete job, never seen a bad report of his work.

As above and the best advice I can give, is don't try to prep the metal before sending it as you won't make a good enough job for anybody else to reblue and it'll cause much more work in the long run.
