BB gun
It needs to fire pellets through a rifled barrel to be more than a toy.

It has a sort of weird appeal. Because it's silly.
On the other hand, it's silly.
And it's expensive. If it was 75 quid, it might be worth it for a laugh, but it's 300! Three hundred actual pounds.
If you want a BB firing bolt action military-style rifle, then something like a CZ47 or Haenel 33 would be my choice. £300 would get you a very nice one. It won't lose its value. It is unlikely to go wrong. If it does go wrong, you can fix it. None of which necessarily applies to the Mosin.
Gletcher are pretty good as a maker and seem to be concentrating on unusual items / vintage items like the rarely seen Nagant revolver . The Luger and the M712 Mauser .
If you look at their website you can see this : http://gletcherguns.com/
The original sawn off Moisin got good reviews so I expect the rifle to do likewise .
Its apples and oranges is,nt it with this kit ?
Some items are not for everybody but it certainly appeals to me as a collector of RIFs

i love these types of rifles i wish they brought out lee enfield type ?
must be like marmite... you either love it or hate it.
I just don't get it myself.
I think my problem with the whole concept is that these aren't 'real'. They mascarade as something instead...
The whole joy of an air rifle (and most other 'guns') is that they are 'fit for purpose' - ie designed and true to the their specified function.
These are just toys
