Use one for hunting and a great scope. Can't see why it couldn't be used for FT...Like the ret on these. Mach 1.5
Hi what are people's views on the
BUSHNELL 3200 4-12 X 40 ao I was thinking of getting one for hft with the ballistic reticle.
Has anyone used one for hft if so how did you get on with it
Cheers
David

Cheers Thanks for that.
Ah, the 3200.
A guy called Beatman (on here!) Had one with a ballistic ret.
Awesome.
If you say his name 3 times, he may appear to ask about it.
I have the fixed 10 mag 3200
Also awesome.
You can (just) see the improvement in glass over the Trophy range.
Which isn't a bad thing, as the Trophy range is superb.
Not the brightest picture, but that's where it's party piece comes in.
At dusk, the light transmission, seems to surpass other, brighter scopes and you can see for longer.
I can recommend Bushys.
Basically, you won't like them if you want a Leupold. But at 30 -50% of the price of a new Leupold, you will be getting a scope, just as well made, just as dependable.
Dance like no one is watching.
Sing like no one can hear.
Scratch yourself like you think the zoom meeting has ended.
I have one at fixed 10x mag and fixed AO (which you can alter if you know how).
It is probably the best glass quality I own, pity it's full mill dots and not halves. I am struggling to justify keeping it as it sits in a draw but the quality is so good I can't bring myself to part with it, what a plonker eh.
I've had a 3200 4-12x40 ballistic reticle on top of my MFR for over ten years. I scored my PB of 58/60 (which was also 100%) with that combo.
Every so often I take it off to try something else and after a week or two I put it back on again. The only thing I've tried that might replace it is the Bushnell Legend Ultra HD 4.5-14x44 that's currently on my HW100.
The ballistic ret is roughly at mil-dot spacing but is only true at 12x which is not as bad as the Ultra HD as its mil-dots are only true at 14x - at 9x and .177, there's a lot of aim-points between those mil-dots.....

looked at bushnell for HFT good glass but the ret put me off only mil dot spacing no 1/2 mill dot. if you going to consider brackting as a range finding aid I would prefer 1/2 mil markings and a ret that extends down 10 mil dots
I really like my delta optics ret designed for HFT bracketing and wind
