HORSHAM HAWKS - Winter Hunter Series – ROUND ONE RESULTS – 29.11.15

Horsham Hawks Winter Hunter Series 2015/16 – Round One Results – 29.11.15

Well done and very many thanks to everybody who turned up for the first round of the Horsham Hawks Winter Hunter Series today at Horsham. We were fortunate in that the rain held off. The wind was another matter entirely. Given the wind, some of the scores were truly remarkable. Well done to everyone. I regret not having shot the course due to a bad back and clearly have much to look forward to on another occasion.

Don't forget that further rounds will be held on:-

    •round 2 - Sunday 27th December 2015
    •round 3 - Sunday 31st January 2016
    •round 4 - Sunday 21st February 2016.

Please find below, the results published in the usual format. Any errors are mine alone and if you would be kind enough to ‘ping me’ a note, I will make any necessary corrections. The scores are also presented in spreadsheet form on the club's website at http://media.wix.com/ugd/75a434_94ae...04102380b2.pdf

See you all at Round Two, if not before.

Thanks Phil & crew, today was great fun and another well thought out course.

Less said about the wind the better, nothing made sense.

Well done to the top shots.

    See you all next week

To think I nearly stayed in bed this morning, so glad I didn't.
A truly enjoyable shoot, I remember why I like the hunter series sk much and the "crouching rat, hidden crow" double trouble targets were brilliant. Lots of springer shooters today, might join the party next time.
Looking forward to the next rounds

Thanks Horsham for a great course, glad I decided to shoot, damn that wind

Thanks Spencer for the company, still say that last target should have counted for a 1

Thanks Hawkies, I do really enjoy these proper hunter esque type of shoots

I think you organised just about enough wind in every direction to make things interesting

I especially liked missing 27 but then knocking over 28 behind it
and to flop over both the elevated shots unassisted kneeling really made my day

    till the next one

    Superb format!
Loved the target behind target set up - not seen that before. Must say I was very relieved to find a far bigger kill behind the first one that I came across!
    Great shoot

Hope your cold clears up fast Andy.
