Electronic scoring target.

Hi

Has anybody built an electronic target that registers the shot and can then register scores on a PC?

The price of the commercial ones is prohibitive and with to days IR detectors etc surely it should be practical to make one.

Hi yes thanks, that looks really useful and I had seen it; sadly it will not work on my phone or tablet.

But I am looking for a target I can shoot at and read the hit (or miss!) remotely on a laptop or tablet.

That's what my local range has. Works on very sensitive microphones apparently that plot the impact point precisely. Don't think there's much on their site about the technology, but you might get more from the parent company, MS Instruments (I think).
