Southern Hunters Round 4 at the Oaks 20th December

Sunday 20th December - Signing in between 8:15 (ish) and 10:00am

Safety brief will be at 10:20 and shooting starting at 10:30am

We have ten rounds this season with your best six scores counting to the final positions, each round will have trophies to be won (Open 1st to 3rd, plus 1st in Recoil, 0.22, Ladies and Junior). Air Arms have once again provided us with a goody bag to be won at each round and a rather fine TX200 for the raffle at the 10th round at Bisley. Badges will be available as will a bonus bunny cash prize drawn from the score cards at the end of each competition.

To reflect the per head fee many clubs pay their land owner we are having to raise the signing in fees this year to £8 for adults but dropping juniors to £4

The courses will all be to current UKAHFT specifications and the aim is to have fun (safely!)

Sarah will be providing the food as per our previous rounds.

Parking will be in the field just above the club hut / burger van / signing in.

Look out for the festive targets and who knows might rustle up a few more draw prizes!

Post code is BN41 2RF and please make sure you drive dead slow through the farm yard.

If you have not shot an HFT competition before please let Terry and Chris know when you sign in and they can pair you up with an experienced shooter.

BIG thanks to Charles, Chris and Terry and all/any other Oakies responsible for today's great SHS event.

Good fun (I think) - shooting with Vince and Simon.

Very well done to Rudy and the Lightly and Jenny pair who so nearly forced him in to a 1st place shoot off. Excellent shooting all 3 of you in the tricksy breeze which caught so many out.

    Happy Christmas one and all

What a great way to start the festive season!

A really, really enjoyable course, plus a gusty, changeable wind - one of the best day's shooting I've had this year.

Well done and many thanks to Charles and the Mile Oak team for all the hard work that went into putting on today for all of us to enjoy
