10m air pistol - it's just clicked and it's bloody weird!

I've been self coaching for the past year or so and suddenly, I have clarity. It's nothing like what I thought. It's almost a black art. Hard to describe really. Consistent instinct is about the best I can do to summarise but it feels great when those clover leaves magically print around the ten. It's also addictive. Barely a moment passes without me visualising my sight picture.

I did say its bloody weird!

I came to 10m Air Pistol late in life and , like yourself , discovered the addictiveness of the sport .
I just wish I'd found it before my eyes , hips , muscles and everything else started drooping . It really is a great feeling to beat your own last score !
Let's encourage everyone we know to come and have a shot or two or three!.
It certainly beats sitting watching the box.

Have you done your first 50 ex 50 yet? Thats addictive but at our place it means you have to offer to make everyone a brew.

    Errrrrrrrrrrr NO.

Now I have clarity, I can now practice, practice, practice.

I'll be up to see you in the new year.

    All the best.

    Just plain luck.

I've also found that the more I practise, the luckier I get. If you are not already, you need to get started shooting local and national postal comps run by your county RA, the NSRA and the Pollice shooting association.

Unlike a certain Mr Jones, I have yet to cough up for a round of brews at my club. However, I am getting closer. Incidentally, give the cheapo H&N greens a run out. Our guns love them just as much as R10's for whatever reason.
